On behalf of the City of Atoka, I would like to invite you to visit our outstanding community. Atoka is a growing, progressive city with a proud history and a great future. Located in the heart of southeastern Oklahoma our quality of life is second to none.

To meet increasing demands, the City is building new raw water treatment facilities that will double our capacity. An airport expansion is underway to increase our runway to 5000 ft. and new hangars are being added. A new hospital is in the planning stages. Our parks are being upgraded and expanded. City streets are constantly being improved. Private housing developments are underway. Two industrial parks are available. A campus of the Kiamichi Technology is located here. Our Chamber of Commerce is outstanding.

In the center of the Choctaw Nation, the area is home to the Wes Watkins Agricultural Research & Extension Center, the Confederate Memorial Museum & Cemetery, the state’s first winery, excellent bass fishing and hunting, a nine hole golf course, State Parks, antique shops, gaming casinos and much more.
